This past weekend was a weekend with many firsts in one day. 1st Trail run with PURE Nutrition Technology as official hydration partner, 1st Trail run of the year in Gauteng, 1st event held at The Blades Hotel.
Wild Trail SA, Kinetics.co.za and The Blades teamed up to bring Gauteng their first trail run for 2012. What a successful event ! The venue offers an incredible setting, the routes were well marked and kinetics.co.za and PURE Nutrition Technology were ready at the finish line to help the athletes with recovery.
Not just the athletes enjoyed good treatment – families could enjoy good food, a beer and some shopping while they waited for the athletes to cross the water to the finish line.
Congratulations to the various winners and well done to all of the 600 athletes competing. Hope to see everybody at the next race.
