Eleven Global at Sun City – Pure was there

PURE Nutrition was at the Eleven Global expo on Saturday 12 November where we met a lot of top triatletes. The highlight of the evening however was meeting Sheila Taormina (A unique motivational speaker who was Olympic champion in one sport, World champion in another sport, and the World Cup Standings leader in a third sport (pentathlon 2008)

Sunday 13 November was race day, a very hot day in Sun City. Of the Pro Athletes PURE sponsored 4, what an excellent representation. We also met other PURE Athletes, the likes of Leonard, Dr Brink, Steve and Dave (Tribe), Mike (MAD) and others.

The 1,5km Swim was great, fresh clear water was welcome on such a hot day, after 40km on the bikes the athletes started to feel the heat…….. The last leg of the race a 10km run through the Gary Player golf course was a killer with very little wind on the course the athletes really suffered.

They don’t call this race ‘Africa’s toughest Triathlon’ for nothing!!!
